Timothy Malcolm "Tim" Healy (born 29 January 1952) is an English actor who portrayed Dave Miller in Waterloo Road.
Career[]
Best known for his roles as Dennis Patterson in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Les (aka "Lesley") Conroy in Benidorm and Gastric in Still Open All Hours, Healy has also starred in Emmerdale, The World Cup: A Captain's Tale, Minder, Tickle on the Tum, A Perfect Spy, A Kind of Living, Casualty, Boys from the Bush, Cracker, Heartbeat, Frank Stubbs Promotes, Phoenix Nights, The Lost World, Silent Witness, The Jury, Breeze Block, Magic Grandad, Dalziel and Pascoe, Coronation Street and The Spa.
Personal life[]
With his former wife, actress Denise Welch (who also appeared in Waterloo Road as Steph Haydock, who had a minor romance with his character), Tim has two sons, including The 1975 lead singer Matty Healy, who himself made several cameos in Series 3 and 4.
