Sameen Azizi was an Iranian illegal immigrant who attended Waterloo Road during Series 3.
In her first appearance, she was a background character who played on the girls' football team, but the following week she was thrust into the story picture when she began hiding from immigration officers who eventually stormed the school looking for her. Sameen was eventually deported to Iran and she is not mentioned again.
Sameen took part in Mika and Brett's eco warrior protest.
She was good friends with Danielle and Aleesha.

Sameen's exit is very similar to that of Lula Tsibi in Series 8. Both ran away from the deportation officers and both had the school rally around them to try and stop the deportation. Both of them also eventually give themselves up and are deported.

Sameen was played by Fiona Wade, best known for playing Priya Sharma in Emmerdale from 2011 to 2023.
