Marie Lewis is the estranged mother of Waterloo Road High School student Danny Lewis. She moved to Birmingham with her boyfriend Vinny McCullen after Danny left the household during lockdown due to fighting and left her son in Manchester.
She returns to visit Danny under the pretence of checking up on him but in reality came to ask for the money he stole from Vinny back. When Danny refuses, Vinny's associates Ryan Capper and Reece Megson later threaten Danny at a party until he pulls out a knife on them.
