Katy Jane Carmichael (born 5 March 1970) is an English actress, director and producer who portrayed Melissa Ryan in Waterloo Road.

Best known for her roles as Twist Morgan in Spaced and Lucy Barlow in Coronation Street, Carmichael's other credits include Casualty, Cutting It, Moving On, Christopher Robin, Mistresses, Clocking Off, One Foot in the Grave, Dead Babies, Bread and The Dumping Ground.
