Grady was a cannabis dealer who had a "romance" with Josh Stevenson. He was introduced as Josh's friend, but Josh had a crush on him and Grady flirted with him and led him on in order to push drugs on him.
Grady showed up at school to meet Josh, and Finn Sharkey saw Grady and warned Josh that Grady was his dealer's dealer and that he was trouble. Josh met with Grady during lunchtime, where Grady persuaded Josh to smoke weed again, flirting with him and kissing him. Josh became stoned. Nikki Boston then saw them and they ran away.
Nikki later caught Josh stoned and used an army tactic to sober him up. She then took Josh on cadet training. Whilst there, Josh spotted Grady flirting with a girl and giving her drugs. Josh confronted him, but Grady attacked Josh. Nikki helped Josh, and Grady escaped.
Later that day, Grady showed up at the school, peddling drugs to other pupils. When Nikki saw him, she used an army skill to take him down, and Rhona Mansfield called the police. Grady was arrested and never seen again.
