Dexter Campbell (2010 - c. 2016) was the son of Kim Campbell and Max Tyler.
Max was never seen to have met Dexter and instead Chris Mead was seen to be looking after Kim and Dexter.
As the episode goes on, Kim decides that her relationship with Chris would not last and decides to end it.
Dexter's birth comes after Kim adopted Grace Campbell previously, and throughout Series 5 Kim was seen to be very motherly towards babies and young children.
Although being in only one episode, it is believed that Kim Campbell began her maternity leave and left Waterloo Road with Dexter in Series 5 Episode 20.
In Series 11, Kim confirms that Dexter passed away from an illness, aged 6. He is seen in photos on Kim's desk throughout her time as headteacher.
