Dean Smith (born 25 January 1990) is an English actor and comedian who portrayed Philip Ryan in both Waterloo Road and Waterloo Road Reunited.

Known for his roles as DS Yates in Hollyoaks and Willis in Still Open All Hours, Smith's other credits include Casualty, The Great Train Robbery, Last Tango in Halifax, The Last Kingdom, Doctors, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
