Carrie Norton arrived last-minute at Waterloo Road because Havelock High, where her mother wanted her to go, was full. She immediately captured Lenny Brown's affections, although she didn't realise he liked her at first. Lenny's sister Lisa took an immediate dislike to Carrie.
Before it was discovered that Guy Braxton and Carrie were brother and sister, Guy nearly got into a lot of trouble when Lenny secretly filmed him hugging Carrie in his classroom.
Carrie and Guy could only hang out in the school away from their mother who Guy was estranged from. Although the two of them fight they have a strong bond.
